Abstract
Indian architecture has gone through major technological advancements with respect to the scientific parameters during the recent decades to generate green buildings. It is essential to understand how the vernacular / conventional building materials are contributing to thermal comforts with specific reference to indoor air temperature in order to understand the auxiliary energy requirement for comfortable condition for assessment of thermal energy at micro and macro level through solar thermal model.
