Abstract :
We present a multi-layered behavioral architecture for the construction of semi-autonomous agents. The architecture fosters a new way of playing games where the gamer can able to direct the agent at a higher level of abstraction with the help of behavioral variables. It is also possible for the gamer to transfer his high level playing strategy into the agent so that the agent can play the game on behalf of the gamer. The architecture lets the different behavioral layers interact with one another in well-defined ways. This leads to the seamless integration of new behaviors with the existing ones
