Abstract
We propose and demonstrate for the first time, a time domain switching technique to reduce noise leakage from the downlink to the uplink in full duplex RoF systems carrying time division duplexed (TDD) services. It is shown that the uplink sensitivity of 802.11g TDD signals on RoF can be improved by as much as 10 dB, significantly extending the overall wireless range.
