Abstract
This paper presents a statistical characterization of communication channel under influence of human body on mobile terminal using the concept of super antenna and geometry-based stochastic models. The disturbances are inserted into the channel trough modified radiation patterns. We have concluded in this work that the human body changes the communication channel from a Nakagami to a Weibull distribution for the studied scenarios. Furthermore, its presence in antenna near field results in worse level cross rating proportional to the distance between the terminal and disturbers.
