Abstract
A dual port bow tie patch antenna is designed to integrate with the RFID system. A bow tie patch antenna is integrated together with superheterodyne receiver and transmitter to boost the performance of the RFID system. Hence, the usage of LNA, mixers, LO and I & Q discrete chip are integrated to a dual port microstrip bow tie patch antenna to produce a full product of wireless communication. In this RFID design, ADS (advanced design system) tool is used to analyze and simulate the entire architecture. The whole complete system is then fabricated on low dielectric FR4 PCB for testing and measurement
