  • Abstract
    A simple, compact, ultra-fast, reconfigurable photonic logic gate is demonstrated exploiting four-wave-mixing and cross-gain-modulation in a single semiconductor-optical-amplifier with improved dynamics. Bit-error-rate measurements are reported for XNOR, AND, NOR, and NOT logic functions
