Abstract :
We analyze and characterize the performance of a linearization scheme for OSSB+C generation via experiment and an analytical model. We also quantify the stability of the scheme experimentally. The results show that the proposed linearization scheme is stable over time and the overall performance is not significantly dependent on the intrinsic characteristics of the optical carrier. The performance is limited by the total loss experienced by the OSSB+C signal.
