Abstract :
Variable universe adaptive fuzzy controller tunes automatically the contraction-expansion factor and universe varies with error of the system. By this approach, the accuracy and the adaptivity of the system can be improved. Aiming at the nonlinearity and time-delay of the plant, a variable universe adaptive fuzzy control for liquid lever system is proposed. First, the mathematical model of the plant is established. Then, a variable universe adaptive fuzzy controller (VUAFC) is designed to control the open degree of valve in the liquid lever system. Simulation results show that the approach improves performance in the transient and steady state of liquid lever.
