Abstract
This paper offers a cellular algorithm for re-customizing a microcontroller network (a multi-controller) in the case of random faults in its elements, based on the parallel construction of routes from the faulty microcontrollers to the back-up ones. It is shown that the quantity of re-customized microcontrollers is reduced for the distributed allocation of back-up copies in a mesh as compared to a column (or a row) of back-up elements. The offered algorithm is effectively implemented by a homogeneous fuzzy-logic network, whose integration into the fault-tolerant multi-controller preserves its homogeneity, scalability and continuous operation in the presence of faults
