  • Abstract
Laser scanner onboard is able to obtain two-dimensional coordinate data of 360-degree circumference far away from the target at the same time. There are broad prospects for application to three-dimensional data acquisition in the city. The laser shaft and lasing area are not vertical, causing the error of laser ranging. In this paper, we design a series of calibration program in accordance with its working principle, giving some methods to correct errors, and provide a viable solution to improve the measurement accuracy of the laser scanner and apply it in practice, in order to lay the foundation for three-dimensional modeling.
