Abstract
In this paper a new emission-security standard has been designed which determines the allowable range of unwanted radiation emission from an electronic equipment to prevent eavesdropping of information. A propagation model has been designed for defining the electric field strength at various distances and environments from emitted equipment in the 30-1000 MHz. In the result section, a set of simulations has been presented in different frequencies. A comparison of the emission security test limits proposed here with the established EMC limits showed that the new standard is much stricter. In the other words, radiated VHF/UHF filed strength level have to be 20 dB lower than those allowed in CISPR22 and FCC standards and approximately 8-21 dB lower than MIL-STD-461E/RE102.
