Abstract
In this paper, we propose a system of evolving virtual robot structures in three-dimensional space. It is possible to obtain the structure of robots suitable for the virtual environment. We regard a robot as the combination of some functional parts (modules). To evolve the structure of robots, we use the technique of genetic programming. Grounds represented by some functions are assumed as the environment. Through computer experiments, it is confirmed that various structures of robots suitable to the environment can be obtained
