Abstract :
Study area of the research is Qinhuangdao City. Establishment and extraction of ecological security landscape index system is an important component of ecological security evaluation. Ecological security landscape index system is an important factor group for the evaluation of regional ecological Security. Together with other ecological security evaluation indices and social statistics indices, this index system contributes a part to the integral index system for evaluating regional ecological Security. The land cover landscape maps of small watersheds are compiled based on the land use interpreted from SPOT images in 2009. Based on GIS, Fragstats and EXCEL, the ecological security landscape index of small watersheds have been extracted and landscape mapping has been obtained. The establishment and extraction methods of ecological security landscape index system of small watershed have been studied. It is important for ecological security evaluation based on 3S technology in Qinhuangdao.
