Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. We show that the SOL statistical properties are similar in four extremely different confinement devices, that are, PISCES linear plasma device, the Tore Supra tokamak, the Alcator C-Mod tokamak and the MAST spherical tokamak. This is performed for the probability distribution function, the power spectra, and using the conditional averaging technique.
