Abstract
An 80 kV, 2.7 A, diagnostic beamline for use on the PBX-M tokamak is described. The 4 m focal length H beam of 0.5° divergence has a full energy current density of 5 mA/cm2 at the focal plane. The beamline was designed without any development work, fabricated, tested, installed, and commissioned ahead of schedule. The design and manufacture of the beamline are detailed, and management of the project is described
