Abstract
Agent technology has been applied in the JITIK system in order to achieve the kind of distributed intelligence needed in modern organizations. Many organizations could reap great benefits by making the most relevant information and knowledge, available today in isolated compartments, available to the right persons at the right time. This is why we think that the "Just-in-time" Information and Knowledge (JITIK) concept could be of great potential, particularly in large organizations interested in quickly reacting to market forces
