  • Abstract
    The MDS-Plus data acquisition system is described. The system´s development is governed by the concept of an experiment model which acts as an interface between the experimenter and the acquisition process. The experiment model can be verbally defined through a suitable language which is compiled into optimized internal data structures, or through an interactive model editor which can also be used for modifying an existing model or its parameters
