Abstract :
In this paper, a broadband 3dB orthogonal bridge in W-band with simple structure is presented. This design gives a 90° orthogonal bridge with high isolation and 8 GHz receiving band in W-band. The 3D EM simulation results show that isolation and return loss is better than − 29dB in the 92–100 GHz. The phase difference of the two output ports is 90°±0.1°, the amplitude error smaller than ±0.3dB. The proposed bridge can be used as power combining component and applied in the design of mirror image rejection mixer through the transition of waveguide to microstrip circuit.
