Abstract :
While mobile agent technology has many potential benefits, there are many issues that need to be taken into account. The legal and social implications of intelligent agent software technology are discussed in this paper. Although mobile agents have been in existence for years, most legal, social and economic issues are still not resolved. Developers and users of mobile technologies must be aware of the issues discussed in this paper
