Abstract :
The external benefits of renewable energy were systematic analyzed and described in detail, such as the energy benefits, the environmental benefits, the health benefits and the macro-economic benefits. The monetary calculation methods of environmental and health benefits were discussed in-depth, which can offer help to planners and policy makers to understand the potential benefits of renewable energy, and also provide a strong support for the establishment of reasonable price mechanism and related incentives of renewable energy.
