Abstract
A two-step procedure for subspace-based process modeling is proposed. Firstly, a deterministic model is built as a basic control-oriented process model, which uses plant test data. Then the historical operational data are used to build the stochastic model for closed-loop control by subspace identification. Finally, the stochastic model serves as a modified form of the basic model for adaptive controller design.
