Abstract :
The symposium topics cover a large subject area from semiconductor technology to device characterisation and modelling; from MMIC design to packaging and reliability; and from low noise to power amplifiers and mixers, with special emphasis on applications, including telecommunication, automotive, space and military. The GAAS Association is an independent scientific, non-profit organisation, constituted in 1998 and founded by the Chairmen of the previous GAAS conferences. With these objectives in mind, the GAAS® 2005 Symposium focuses on the exchange of scientific and technical information on microwave devices and MMICs, including opto-electronic components, realised on Gallium Arsenide and other semiconductors.
