Abstract :
An error-free DPSK DWDM bi-directional transmission of 8×10 Gb/s signals using an in-line SOA over 80 km SMF-28 with matching DCF is demonstrated. The results suggest promising application for bi-directional transmission in metro and access network with simple configuration and low cost.
