Abstract :
It is studied, in this paper, the vibration suppression and the disturbance rejection of the 2-mass main drive system in rolling mill of a steel works with Kalman filter enhanced state feedback pole placement controller. The simulation results show that the proposed controller improved the transient behaviour of the system under the conventional PI controller.
