Abstract :
Engineering education is changing in response to the significant technological and organizational changes in industry. One area of significant change in recent years has been undergraduate senior design projects. The paper provides a brief overview of the changes in the senior design project experience at Lake Superior State University with a special emphasis on the use of multidisciplinary design teams and the interaction of the faculty and student team with the industrial sponsor
