  • Abstract
    In this paper, an ultra-wide band (UWB) bandpass filter with multiple frequency notched bands characteristics is investigated. The filter is realized by combining a series of coplanar waveguide (CPW) periodic structure etched on the surface of a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) with stepped impedance resonators (SIR) placed on the feed lines. The prototypes of UWB (5 GHz-10.5 GHz) bandpass filters with two notched bands is implemented and measured. The measured data is in agreement with the simulated results.
