Abstract :
Various utility-interactive photovoltaic power conditioning systems have been reported so far. In general, we could say that such photovoltaic power conditioning systems have been approaching the ideal ones, that is high efficiency, high performance and the like. However the system cost including that for power converters and solar cells still prevents widespread application. This paper proposes a simple utility-interactive photovoltaic power conditioning system with a forward converter and also proposes an innovative lossless snubber circuit, which is very easy to utilize and is suited for the this converter circuit. The system operation is confirmed by simulation analysis and experiment
