  • Abstract
    The 1 to 18 GHz YIG-tuned dual-selected filters series with the Self-Tracking Automatic Lock-On Circuit(STALOC) had been developed. They have advantages of accurate tracking, high reliability, broad frequency range, wide temperature range and applied flexibility. The STALOC filters are particularly useful in the microwave tuners where they precisely track the RF bandwidths of YIG-tuned dual-preselectors to a local oscillator at a fixed IF offset. The article describes its basic principle, design considerations, technical performances and applications.
