Abstract :
We study theoretically the optical response of a hybrid system comprised of a dimer coupled to a metal nanoparticle. The intermolecular coupling between molecules J and the dimer-MNP coupling G drive the optical response of the hybrid. We found that, for certain combinations of J and G, optical bistability can occur.
