Abstract :
The core content of rough set theory is introduced, and the discrete method of continuous attribute value based on the Kohonen neural network is given. The rough set theory is used to simplify the attribute parameter reflecting operating conditions of a diesel engine, and a RBF neural network is used to realize automatic fault classification and fault diagnosis for the fuel injection system of a diesel engine. The example is shown that the system´s ANN input node number can be reduced.
