Abstract :
The effects of interharmonic distortion on measurement instruments based on PLL systems are analyzed. After some brief recalls on the general scheme of a three-phase PLL, a linearized analysis in the presence of interharmonics is developed in terms of PLL phase angle and frequency errors. Finally, the results of a numerical case-study on a Power Quality measurement instrument are discussed.
