Abstract :
As described in this paper, electromagnetic wave propagation characteristics in a grounded ferrite slab waveguide loaded with a metallic strip grating are analyzed using mode-matching technique. Nonreciprocity is investigated theoretically and numerically for volume waves in the high-frequency region. In addition, it is explained theoretically how the main radiated beam direction of the leaky wave is controllable using a comparatively weak dc magnetic field as an effect of nonreciprocity.
