Abstract :
We demonstrate an all-optical XNOR-gate using simultaneous FWM and XGM in an SOA. Error-free operation for 5-Gb/s RZ data with < 2dB power-penalty is reported. The module also performs as a half-adder with inverted ´sum´ output.
