Abstract :
This paper presents an hybrid mode field analysis of a fin-line structure containing a magnetized ferrite slab smaller than the height of the waveguide. Using this theory the dispersion and field distribution properties of this structure are calculated and compared with the measurement results, respectively. The computed results show the in fluence of the ferrite width on the dispersion properties and good agreement with the measurement. Therefor,it gives better approximation and optimization possibility to design nonreciprocal fin-line devices.
