Abstract :
In this paper, a compact ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas with triple notched-band characteristic are proposed. The UWB antenna consists of a simi-circle metal patch and a 50 O CPW transmission line. Two capacitively-loaded loop resonators are integrated on the back of the substrate. By etching band-notched structures, the antenna can suppress the WLAN band (5.725–5.825 GHz) and X-band (7.25–7.75 GHz) for downlink of X-band satellite communication systems successfully, which improves the utilization of the spectrum resource and decreases the electromagnetic interference (EMI). Some parameter analyze of the geometric are mentioned in this paper. Furthermore, the equivalent circuit model has been used to understand the principle of the antenna.
