Abstract :
We present a brief review of methods of simulation of secondary emission discharge (multipactor) in electromagnetic devices of different geometry. Our approach takes into account effects of random secondary emission velocities on the steady-state of multipactor. Methods discussed are based as on exact analytical solutions for the arrival time probability density of secondary electrons, as on the direct Monte Carlo calculation for more complex systems, such as electrodynamic waveguides.
