Abstract :
An introductory computing knowledge area was presented under the Greenfield Coalition´s new educational paradigm. It was much more successful after changes in its administrative policies accounted for past student experience. The paper is a discussion of those changes and their rationale, how the knowledge area was presented, and how it affected a course presented at Wayne State University
