Abstract :
Based upon the principle of jigging process, the human-like intelligent control system is built with aim to gain high jig efficiency. The intelligent control system is built in two layers. In the top layer, based on the online evaluating preparing efficiency, the quality and the preparation of raw coal, the intelligent control system can coordinate each sub-control system of the low layer and realize optimal control. In the low layer, a multi-loop fuzzy controllers are built to control the jigging process which is a multi-variable system. The multi-loop fuzzy controllers can satisfactorily control feeder, rejects discharge, middle discharge, downscreen water, and wind system. The application in a coal preparing plant shows that the intelligent control system described in this paper is feasible. The good economic benefit has been gained.
