Abstract :
Integrated photonic technologies, when applied to the processing of RF signals, have the potential to enable RF receivers with reconfigurable band-pass and notch characteristics. This capability will allow mitigation of spurious and/or unwanted signals through their selective attenuation. The scale and integration potential of these photonic Integrated systems have the potential greatly improve system SWAP while improving overall receiver capability and performance.
