Abstract :
This paper reviews the SCOW technology and describe its application in mode-locked SCOW external-cavity lasers (ML-SCOWECLs), optoelectronic oscillators (OEOs), and suppressed-bias MWP links, limiting the discussion to 1.5-μm emitters fabricated using InGaAsP/InP quantum wells.
