Abstract
Handling the complexity of future network infrastructure presents great challenges to network management. Introduction of self-management features will allow for the automation of common management tasks. Based on an architecture for measurement and self-management we analyze in this paper a use case for achieving energy-efficient adaptations in access networks comparing various options of node cooperation and information exchange.
