  • Abstract
The two-Riccati-equation formulation of compensator design is used to design stabilizing compensators that achieve a prescribed bound on the H-norm of the disturbance-to-error transfer function of singularly perturbed systems. Approximate solutions for the Riccati equations are obtained based on the solutions of the Riccati equations of the fast subsystem and those of a system which is of the order of the slow subsystem. Approximate stabilizing compensators are designed and shown to be singularly perturbed systems
