Abstract
The transmission control system of the heavy-duty electrical wheels autonomous dump truck is single-chip control system, STATEX, from GE. The shortcomings of the system hardware include too many pinboards, breakdowns, inconvenient maintenance, and expensive spare parts. This paper introduces our development of a microcomputer-controlled system for the electrical transmission of 154t electric wheels autonomous dump truck. We have developed a new control system-154t electrical wheels autonomous dump truck microcomputer control system. In order for our proposed system to achieve and improve the performance of the original unit STATEX III of the 154t electrical wheels autonomous dump truck, the hardware of our system adopts high performance DSP (digital signal processor) chip, TMS320F2812, as CPU; and the excitation control subsystem adopts the nonlinear-PI controller. Results of the sample unit test and computer simulations demonstrate that the system has excellent anti-interference, high integration and stable performance. Thus the system can be used as a replacement for imported trucks and as a regular unit for new 154t trucks
