Abstract :
The antiplane dynamic problem for an elastic medium with a thin linear piezoelectric inclusion of low rigidity is considered. The methodology of investigation is based on the method of matched asymptotic expansions and the integral equations method. Wave fields scattered by the inclusion into the far zone (Fraunhofer zone) are investigated.
