Abstract :
In this work we have developed and suggested new control strategies for the fully coordinated and synchronized power generation on a distributed power grid station utilizing different renewable energy sources. The strategies are based on Digital controller and can easily be implemented on any digital device such as FPGA, CPLD, and PC or even in software environment. The techniques focus on the regulation of the load voltage and current and coordinated effective operation of various energy sources including Solar Cells, Fuel Cells and Wind Turbine. The battery bank is charged using the collaborative operation of the sources and controller and the power conversion process is simulated in SimPowerSystems.
