Abstract :
One solution in preventing the global warming issue is reducing the quantity of the use of paper, for example we can replace a physical book with electronic book (e-book). Some of books that often bought by customers in Indonesia are SNMPTN (Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri) exam exercise books. We can change these books with interactive application (software) that will be installed on user´s device like PC, smartphone, or tablet PC. Indirectly, it will reduce the quantity of paper using. In this document, we will describe a design of application system. This application will be used by candidate of SNMPTN written exam participant to simulate their exam. This application will be run on Android device. The name of this application is aSNMPTN (Application for SNMPTN). The contents of the exam for this application will be filled by informal tutoring institution (lembaga bimbingan belajar/bimbel). We will also design a supporting web-based application that will be used by bimbel to create the contents. aSNMPTN can communicate with this supporting application via internet.
