Abstract
Team building and project planning workshops have been successfully used to initiate the focus of interdisciplinary student teams. The team centered workshop consists of a variety and range of activities to accommodate various learning styles. Training in project planning helps a group identify and sequence project tasks, thus enabling team members to understand the relationships between their efforts and those of the other members of the team. Furthermore, the project planning workshop culminates in a preliminary plan for a project
