Abstract :
Due to variable IPT magnetic parameters in EV charger applications, transferred power is not always at maximum levels. This paper proposes a novel algorithm that tracking the maximum transferred power frequency by using measurable variables of the primary circuit. Inductive power transfer (IPT) systems are attractive for Electric Vehicle charger. However the major problem of the IPT systems is large value of leakage flux. For solving this problem, capacitors is added in series or parallel to resonant with circuit leakage inductances. The relations between input and output voltage of IPT charger for parallel- parallel resonance and series-series resonance chargers is presented and by use of them the best topology for IPT based EV-charger is introduced. Finally the performance of proposed algorithm is verified from the simulation results.
