Abstract
Because of allowing a higher operating frequency, DC-DC resonant converters have been used extensively in the design of smaller size and lighter weight power supplies. In This paper robust controller synthesis by model matching approach is presented for series resonant converters. The proposed approach employs a simplified and simple single input- single output model of the converter to design the controller. The controller exhibits output voltage regulation characteristic that is robust against load variations and reference voltage changes. Results obtained from a series of simulations validate the proposed scheme and exhibit performance.
