Abstract :
Nowadays a great deal of attention has been paid to the brain-computer interface (BCI). Its advantage is that it is operated by thoughts. In order to develop such an interface, we have been conducting research to move a computer cursor using the an electro-encephalogram (EEG). We examined the relations between eye movements and the EEG. In the experiment, we recorded the EEG in eye movements toward visual/auditory stimulus, and analyzed the data. As a result, when a subject moved its eyes toward a stimulus, the EEG decreased very much in the occipital lobe at 25 millisecond advance to eye movements. Besides, when the eyes move towards the right, the change of the EEG was found in the right occipital lobe, and towards the left, in the left
